Dimitri Albino, developer

Software that has to work. Shipped since 1992.

Internet systems, real-time 3D, drone software in the cloud, agentic coding. Websites, mobile apps, API services and custom applications that work. This page is a work sample in itself: three files, no framework, no external dependency.

The developer

Who ships all this

Dimitri Albino. Building internet systems since 1992, schooled in flight simulators and virtual reality: software where a dropped frame is visible.

Today I sign mobile apps and drone products: flight rules, photogrammetry in the cloud, the Italian guide to OpenDroneMap. Plus the newer publications: agriculture, semiconductors, China. And one product now in private beta: Socializza, which puts AI agents on social accounts without handing over the keys. Multiple web properties, one rule: it ships, or it does not count.

New project · Private beta from October 2026

Socializza: the agent runs your social accounts, you keep the keys

Agents like Hermes, OpenClaw, Claude and ChatGPT can already write, schedule and reply. Plugged into a social account today, they hold a key that opens everything. Socializza is the newest product: a controlled bridge between your agents and your accounts on Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon. The agent receives a short-lived key limited to the accounts and actions you picked, you approve what matters from your phone, and every call lands in an exportable log. Socializza never writes content. Your agent does the work.

  • PermissionsPer agent, per account, per action
  • ApprovalAsk first, from the app or by email
  • Audit logEvery call and who approved it, exportable
  • EU token vaultPlatform logins never reach the agent

Three levels per agent: Osserva reads, Pubblica drafts and publishes after your OK, Interagisce replies and moderates inside limits you set. A dry-run mode returns realistic results and touches nothing. Change a rule any time: the agent sees the update on its next call, and the change is logged.

Official APIs only: no scraping, no shared passwords. Hosted in Europe, tokens encrypted with per-customer keys, an AI flag on every post for the AI Act transparency rules. Native apps for iOS and Android plus a web dashboard, in Italian, English, Spanish, French and German. TikTok, X, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts next.

Technology

What I actually work with

Six disciplines, one career. Each one left habits that show up in everything I ship.

A flight simulator cockpit on a CRT screen, years ago.

01 · Real-time 3D and simulation

The school of the frame budget

Virtual reality systems and flight simulator software: real-time 3D, physics, instrumentation. When your code has to draw a cockpit frame in sixteen milliseconds, a slow web page feels like a personal insult. That school never let me go.

An Italian village rendered as a 3D point cloud.

02 · Photogrammetry and 3D

Photos in, terrain out

ODM is the de facto standard for drone photogrammetry and, honestly, one of the hardest tools to install and configure. I build pipelines that hide that difficulty: photos and video in, maps and 3D out. Meshes, point clouds, Gaussian Splatting scenes. I also maintain webodm.it, the Italian guide that covers both photogrammetry lines, tested and dated.

03 · Cloud GPU pipeline

H100 and B200 behind a click

Automatic photogrammetry and 3D modeling on Modal, with NVIDIA H100 and B200 GPUs behind it. No limits on file size, photo count or processing time, and the user never sees any of it. That is the point.

04 · Mobile

Two stores, one name

Mobile apps published under the ITALDRONI name, on Google Play and on the App Store. Same rule as every other product: open, use, done.

05 · AI and agentic coding

Agents in the crew

I work with agentic coding every day: agents that write and review code, scripts that test pages in a headless browser, media pipelines where a generation thread picks up a request queue. Autonomy needs supervision, in drones and in agents alike. The workflow is new; the judgment that signs off is thirty-four years old. This page was built by exactly that pipeline.

06 · Web since 1992

Fewer dependencies, faster pages

I started building internet systems in 1992 and shipped through every era since: static pages, dynamic sites, platforms, ecosystems of sites. My bias is simple: code that outlives frameworks. The page you are reading is the proof: three files, zero external requests.

History

Thirty-four years, four chapters

  1. 1992

    First internet systems

The year I started building for the network: servers, connections, the first systems. A website was something you had to explain to people.

  2. Simulators

    The school of milliseconds

Virtual reality and flight simulator software. Real-time 3D, physics, instrumentation. Code where a dropped frame is visible.

  3. Internet

    Sites, tools, platforms

The work grew into whole families of sites. The network today spans multiple web properties: drone training and flight rules, plus agriculture, semiconductors and China.

  4. Today

Products in the cloud, agents in the crew

Drone software on cloud GPUs, mobile apps on two stores, an editorial platform with 205 pages kept current, agentic workflows in daily build. Still shipping.
